Stubby's original BBQ restaurant was opened on Park Avenue back in 1952. Stubby's serves the sweet BBQ sauce that became so popular in Hot Springs. A similar sauce was used by several other BBQ joints which were similar to Stubby's but they didn't last.  In addition to BBQ, Stubby's has great pit smoked baked potatoes and of course their pot-o-beans with smoked ham chunks.
