Taco Pronto may not be authentic Mexican food but it definitely is great tasting Arkansas-Mexican food. Few in Hot Springs can remember when there wasn't a Taco Pronto. That's because it has been around since 1969.  We all grew up eating at taco pronto before there were any other Mexican places in town. The combination burritos are great as are the cheese crisps (crispy fried flour tortilla topped with shredded cheese, salsa, and jalapeños then heated until the cheese is melted). Get your burrito topped off with cheese dip to make it even better. The enchilada plate covered in chili con carne is a Tex-Mex favorite.  Taco Pronto is located on Central Avenue just before the Hot Springs Mall.
